The Lower Mainland Newfoundland and Labrador Heritage Society would like to remind you that their annual “Lobster Boil” will soon be upon us. If you have not done so yet, mark Saturday, May 29, 2010 on your calendar so you won’t miss out. It will be held this year at 3:00 pm, again at Kevin Strong’s home, 5922 142nd Street in Surrey.
Tickets are twenty dollars each for fresh cooked lobster, side salads and roll. We are hoping for a good, sunny day to enjoy Kevin’s large backyard and the many friends who will gather there. This is a very popular event and tickets will go fast, so please contact Gerdi at 604 535 3907, Linda at 604 594 5013 or a member of the executive committee soon to secure yours.
Order your tickets now to avoid disappointment as ticket sales must end at least one week before the 29th to allow time to order the lobsters.
This is a BYOB event, so please bring something to drink, your most comfortable lawn chair, something to crack your lobster with and, of course, don’t forget your appetite!
