How's it goin' by's! Just fluked into this site, wondering if it's still active or any upcoming events in or around Surrey. Originally from Bay Bulls, Kilbride, Mt Pearl, and been up here 4-5 years now.
Biggest thing I miss from home, other than the fish n chips, is gettin a good kitchen party going with a few guitars, fiddle, spoons, whatever.

Hi, I was born in St. John's, but have lived here since I was two (with three trips back). My Dad, Ian King, from Hickman's Harbour, died a few years ago. I thought someone out there might like his Ed Smith books.

I am originally from St. John's. Graduated Br. Rice High School in 1969. My family and I moved to Delta, B. C. in 1991. For the last 10 years, I have been working in Surrey with Valley View Cemetery as a Pre-arrangement Advisor. I would be happy to meet any fellow Newfoundlanders who might like some important information on pre-planning.

For the information of those that are watching the Olympics, on Friday,
Feb 28 at 7PM EASTERN- [ 2:30pm in BC,] there is scheduled on NBC a
documentary of Gander with Tom Brokaw. Should be interesting. Hope it doesn't get cancelled.
